The screen works according to the principle of continuous through-feed screening.

The screening substrate is fed into the rotational screen via a screw conveyor, conveyor belt, etc. The screening substrate is split into two fractions in the rotating screen drum: a coarse and a fine fraction. The size of the screen perforation is determined by the desired fine fraction. The perforated sheets are attached onto the screen basket and can be easily changed and switched to another perforation diameter.

The coarse fraction that does not penetrate through the perforations is fed into a separate outlet inside the screen drum. The coarse and fine fraction are continuously passed onto a subsequent process after screening. The rotational screen is available in painted steel or stainless steel.
