Where steel container designs reach their limits, the sliding-floor storage and conveyor system is realised in combination with concrete. In order to absorb the forces of the alternating hydraulic loads in the concrete, pre-defined steel components (inserts) are installed before concreting. Depending on the requirements and specifications of the bulk material, push and pull elements are used that move on the concrete or steel floor. The bulk material is conveyed towards the output point, either directly onto a subsequent machine or via a milling cutter which discharges the bulk material in a controlled manner.
